Papillitis - necrotizing

Necrotizing papillitis (renal papillary necrosis, necrotizing renal papillitis) is one type of  kidney disease. Causes include analgesic abuse, acute infectious interstitial nephritis [nephritis - interstitial], sickle cell disease, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, diabetes mellitus and an obstruction of the urinary outflow.
