Pyogenic granuloma (granuloma pyogenicum) is a soft solitary red raised node that resembles granulation tissue. The lesion is sometimes pedunculated. This benign mass is usually occurs at a site of prior accidental or surgical trauma. It is often observed in the conjunctiva and eyelid.
